At Bundaberg and District Meals on Wheels, every dollar raised is dedicated to making a meaningful impact in our local community. Your generous contribution ensures that vulnerable clients can maintain their independence and well-being, living in the comfort of their own homes.

Why support Bundaberg Meals on Wheels ?

Bundaberg and District Meals on Wheels has been a cornerstone of our community for nearly 60 years, bringing people together and making a tangible difference in the lives of our residents.

For nearly 60 years, Bundaberg & District Meals on Wheels has been a cornerstone of our region, supporting local residents to live independently in the place they love most — their own home.

Each year, our small but mighty service prepares and delivers thousands of nutritious meals to members of the Bundaberg community. But what we offer goes far beyond food. We support people recovering from surgery or illness, seniors living alone, individuals with disability, carers in need of respite, and those facing challenging or unique circumstances.

Our volunteers are more than meal deliverers — they are a friendly face, a wellness check, and often the only visitor someone may see all day. They bring warmth, connection, and a genuine sense of community with every delivery.

Despite rising demand and limited government funding, Bundaberg and District Meals on Wheels remains committed to delivering quality care and compassion where it’s needed most. We rely on the generosity of our local volunteers, donors, and community partners to keep our wheels turning.

By contributing locally — through donations, bequests, sponsorships, or volunteering — you help ensure that vulnerable Bundaberg residents can continue to live safely, comfortably, and with dignity. Your support keeps our mission alive, now and for generations to come.

How will my donation make a difference in Bundaberg?

Every dollar stays right here in our region, helping us prepare and deliver fresh, nutritious meals and providing meaningful social connection to hundreds of Bundaberg residents each week.

Your donation helps ensure that:

  • Older adults, people with disabilities, carers, and those recovering from illness or surgery receive the nourishing meals and regular check-ins that support their independence and wellbeing.
  • Local volunteers can continue delivering more than just meals — they offer a friendly face, a safety check, and a lifeline to those who may be isolated.
  • Bundaberg Meals on Wheels remains a trusted, dependable service, providing peace of mind to families and improving quality of life across our community.

Together, we can keep this essential service rolling — helping Bundaberg locals live safely, comfortably, and connected in their own homes for as long as possible.
